For some reason I cannot stop thinking about building ‘trust’ in all that I do for my customers and operators (without high achieving operators I cannot service my customers).
Perhaps I feel it more now with COVID having destroyed our tourism industry and how customers are so insecure to buy into anything experiential for so many legitimate reasons.
I remember reading a profound article from Forbes some years back which stated that establishing trust is every human’s #1 primal need and within 15 seconds of hearing, reading about or meeting a person or business we will decide whether we can trust the person and/or business.
So my point is that before we throw money at advertising to get traffic onto our sites, let’s pause for a minute and retrace every step of our customer process to ensure that we are establishing trust and credibility at each stage.
If we can establish trust which is far deeper than selling with confidence, then closing a sale is seamless. I have included a great article from Forbes about this topic which you may find interesting. Unfortunately it is not the article I read a few years back which keeps popping into my mind, especially since the onslaught of COVID.
